Texas A&M got some good news Monday as the team was able to add to their tight end depth when 2016 prospect Luke Laufenberg announced on his Twitter feed he would be playing for the Aggies this season.

The 6-foot-4, 225-pound Argyle, Texas prospect will begin his Aggie career as a walk-on after receiving interest from both A&M and Arkansas during his recruiting process. Laufenberg should add to a roster somewhat lacking at the position, as the Aggies have only five tight ends currently listed on the roster.
A&M freshman tight end J.J. Gustafson took to Twitter to welcome the addition of Laufenberg to the team and noted his progression to get to this point:
Proud of this guy for the way he's worked and person he's become. https://t.co/6OjHJexBrf
