It’s safe to say that former Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray is impressed by current Bulldogs quarterback Jake Fromm.
Murray joined the SEC on CBS set ahead of Saturday’s SEC Championship Game between Georgia and Auburn in Atlanta. He had plenty of good things to say about Fromm.
“I think it’s his leadership. He has commanded that team right now at a young age, and that’s hard to do,” Murray said. “And his play on the football field … I just love it. He goes out there and throws the ball confidently. He does a great job with the play action.
“And the best thing — he gives his receivers, his tight ends, his running backs chances to make plays,” Murray added. “He doesn’t need to be perfectly accurate. Just throw it up. You’ve got 5-star, 4-star receivers. If you give them a chance to go out there and do their thing, they’re going to help you out too.”
