The Alabama Crimson Tide are the 2018 College Football Playoff National Champions.
The Georgia Bulldogs led 13-0 at halftime, and following the break, Nick Saban made the decision to start freshman QB Tua Tagovailoa in the second half to help jump-start the offense. And boy, did he ever.
Tagovailoa led the Tide’s resurgence and helped send the game into overtime tied up at 20. Georgia pulled ahead 23-20 after the first possession, and then Tagovailoa made the perfect pass to WR DeVonta Smith. Mind you, that ridiculous pass was made after a 16-yard loss.
Alabama beat Georgia 26-23 behind the arm of Tua Tagovailoa.
