WATCH: Alabama QB Jalen Hurts completes a pass to himself

Alabama and Florida State are locked in a tight battle, and Crimson Tide QB Jalen Hurts is pulling out all the tricks early on.
Hurts completed a pass to himself in the first quarter of action. That’s something you don’t see everyday.
He was trying to complete a swing pass to RB Damien Harris when FSU DB Derwin James batted the ball in the air. Hurts distinctively grabbed it and tried to advance the play.
The play went for no-gain, but Hurts can add a reception to his stat sheet.
