WATCH: Arkansas State players respect Alabama, feeling confident heading into Week 2 matchup

Saying “We Want Bama” hasn’t worked out for many teams since Nick Saban took over the program back in 2007.
Therefore, many teams try to avoid trash talking the Tide, but there’s a fine line between being confident and being cocky, and the Arkansas State Red Wolves seem to be walking it well.
As you can see in the video below, the Red Wolves are cautiously optimistic heading into Saturday’s action against the No. 1 team in the country:

“It’s just another game,” WR Justin McInnis said. “We know we’ve got one of the best receiving corps in the nation. So if we go out there and play like we can play, sky’s the limit for our group. Sky’s the limit for our offense, sky’s the limit for our team. Definitely confident.”
That’s not exactly bulletin-board material, and you want your players to be confident, so this is exactly what you’d expect Arkansas State to be saying.
The Red Wolves received a vote in the latest AP Poll, too, so they’re not exactly slouches when it comes to non-Power 5 foes.
