Auburn quarterback signee Joey Gatewood looks a bit more like a fullback.
Gatewood, who is an obvious dual-threat QB, is a powerful runner — so much so that he might remind Tigers fans of a certain former quarterback who could barrel through defenders when he needed to.
Not to make an unfair comparison in literal terms, but that guy played around 2010 and won a Heisman Trophy.
Gatewood is a 6-foot-4 232-pound stud in the class of 2018. He’s a 4-star prospect, according to the 247Sports Composite, and is rated as the nation’s No. 3 athlete and the No. 108 player overall.
It appears the Tigers are getting a good one out of Jacksonville, Fla.
