Published:

Georgia sophomore QB Jacob Eason went down with a leg injury in Week 1 of this season and hasn’t seen significant playing time since.

However, that didn’t stop ESPN announcer Chris Fowler from calling Eason’s name when freshman QB Jake Fromm was running the ball.

As you can hear in the clip below, shared by @AllaireMatt on Twitter, Fowler makes the understandable, yet embarrassing, mistake:

Fowler hasn’t had the best night, as he also referred mistakenly to Riley Ridley as Javon Wims.

However, Fowler is one of the best announcers in the business, so he’ll try to make the halftime adjustments and come back stronger after the intermission.
