WATCH: Dak Prescott has high opinion of former MSU QB coach, new Florida assistant

Dak Prescott had positive things to say about Florida’s new quarterbacks coach, Brian Johnson last December.
Johnson was added to Dan Mullen’s staff in Gainesville on Sunday.
The Gators’ new QB coach was serving as Houston’s offensive coordinator prior to being hired by Mullen. He worked as a QB coach for Mullen previously at Mississippi State from 2014 to 2016.
That means, of course, that Johnson was one of the coaches who helped mold Prescott in Starkville.
“Coach Johnson was always staying on me,” Prescott said. “I think when you have a coach that didn’t necessarily play the position, you might can get away with things. But when a coach played the position and sat there in that seat, played the game and sat in the pocket like you do, it’s hard to get away with things.
“And I think that makes you better.”
