WATCH: Devastating injury doesn’t prevent Nick Fitzgerald from cheering on MSU in Egg Bowl

Nick Fitzgerald was carted off the field during Thursday night’s Egg Bowl between Ole Miss and Mississippi State.
It appeared Fitzgerald suffered some sort of lower leg injury. However, that didn’t stop him from encouraging his team.
It’s easy to see Fitzgerald is an incredible competitor — and an undoubted leader on the Bulldogs squad, which was 8-3 coming into the Thanksgiving night game.
Ole Miss had a 7-0 lead in Starkville at the time of this post, at the end of the first quarter.
