The song by the group Alabama is back in Bryant-Denny Stadium after a long hiatus. It was played over the sound system during the fourth quarter of the game against Missouri, and it seems as though the student section was able to follow “Dixieland Delight done right“.
Earlier in the week, Alabama athletic director Greg Byrne announced the song would be reintroduced for the first time since 2015, as long as the fans could refrain from adding any vulgar lyrics.

Alabama’s next home game is not until Week 11 against Mississippi State, and based on the video taken from the press box, the 1983 hit will continue to play over the loudspeakers at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
