WATCH: Eddy Pineiro thanks Gator Nation with magnificent goodbye video

Eddy Pineiro released a fantastic video on Thursday to show appreciation for Florida and its fans.
He just announced on Tuesday that he would not be returning for his senior season.
“Gator Nation has just been great to me and my family,” he said in the video. “The way they supported me turned me into the kicker I am today. All those chants and all that stuff just made me stronger. It made me realize that I’m loved and that this is my home and it’s something I can come back to 20 years from now …
“This is the right time for me,” Pineiro added. “The NFL is all about timing, and I’m peaking right now.”
Pineiro was the SEC’s best kicker, statistically, in the 2017 regular season. He made 17 of his 18 field goal attempts (94.4 percent) and was 24-for-26 on extra points.
