WATCH: Former Gator Dante Fowler completes ‘scoop and score’ TD vs. Texans
Dante Fowler received a gift on Sunday afternoon and made the most of it.
A former stud on the Gators defense, Fowler has moved on the next level, playing for the Jacksonville Jaguars. During their opening game against the Houston Texans Sunday, he picked up a Tom Savage fumble and housed it during the end of the second quarter. His touchdown put the Jacksonville up 19-0 in the game.
Fowler had a productive 2016 season with 4 sacks and 23 tackles. Now, the St. Petersburg native is looking to make more plays like this in 2017.
