As we enter Week 9 of the college football season, plenty of potential playoff teams such as Auburn and Penn State have been almost certainly ruled out with multiple losses.
However, several teams that could still make it remain, some in better positions than others. Six FOX Sports broadcasters, including Joel Klatt, Tim Brando, and Matt Leinart made their picks for the four finalists in the College Football Playoff.

There was a common theme in all the picks. Each analyst had Alabama, Clemson, and Notre Dame in their final four. Four out of the six picked Michigan to fill that spot, but Brady Quinn and Tim Brando both favored LSU to make the field.
LSU and Alabama play this Saturday in Death Valley in a much-anticipated matchup that could, according to Brando and Quinn, happen again in January.
