Although Alabama didn’t play on Championship Weekend, fans were certainly glued to the championship games.
The Tide had a couple different ways to break into the College Football Playoff top four, but it needed help. TCU didn’t provide any help during the early game against Oklahoma, but thankfully, Ohio State did in the late game. It beat Wisconsin in the Big Ten Championship and it helped Alabama make it into the Playoff field.
The Playoff field is spectacular. No. 4 Alabama will play No. 1 Clemson in the Sugar Bowl, while No. 2 Oklahoma will play No. 3 Georgia in the Rose Bowl.
