WATCH: It’s hard not to love Joe Moorhead’s secret handshake with his son

The bond between father and son can be special and Mississippi State coach Joe Moorhead definitely has something going with one of his sons.
Moorhead’s family were the first to greet him when he came off the bus Saturday to lead his team into Davis Wade Stadium. It appears his wife and daughter were there as well, but it was one of his two sons who stole the show.
He had a kiss for his wife, a hug for his daughter and then a frontside-backside-heart touch-salute for his son, which the two had definitely practiced before.
It’s unclear how long the pair have been doing it for, but the comfort Moorhead’s family brought on gameday likely helped him calm his nerves. The Bulldogs went on to dominate Stephen F. Austin 63-6 in Moorhead’s first game as head coach of the program.
