The wait is finally over for Texas A&M when the Aggies start their season Thursday night against Northwestern State.
No doubt reality finally hit some fans when they saw new head coach Jimbo Fisher walk into Kyle Field.
Surrounded by law enforcement and wearing a sleek grey suit, there is no doubt the former Florida State head coach is already a superstar in College Station. The Aggies’ yell leaders also followed him in with people holding their cell phone cameras in front of them.
In the biggest coaching move of the offseason, Fisher signed a 10-year $75 million deal with the unspoken understanding that Texas A&M expects a national championship while he’s there. That journey begins on Thursday night.
