Texas A&M head coach Jimbo Fisher was at the Aggies’ men’s basketball game against Prairie View A&M on Saturday.
Fisher was handed a microphone during the game and got a chance to speak to the Aggie faithful about the future of Texas A&M football.
“I can’t wait for the spring at Kyle Field when we set the NCAA record for the most attended spring game in NCAA history,” he said to the audience.
The crowd cheered loudly, as would be expected.
Fisher went on to call College Station a “wonderful and amazing place” and spoke about his high expectations as the Aggies’ newest head football coach.
“We’re looking forward to (winning) the SEC and going to a national championship,” Fisher added.
