The Kentucky Wildcats are an impressive 7-1 and sitting at No. 11 in the AP Poll, but they still don’t feel like they’re getting the national respect they deserve.
Sure, the Wildcats get plenty of national attention in basketball, but this is about the football team that is having a special season.
As you can see below, the Wildcats are taking over Times Square to try to get the word out about star players like RB Benny Snell Jr., LB Josh Allen and LB Kash Daniel:
You know this team is special, #BBN. We want to make sure everyone else knows it too.
That’s why Times Square is Kentucky Blue this week. #GetUp #WeAreUK pic.twitter.com/kzPJvPMFSa

With the years Allen and Snell are having, the billboards in New York City could also draw attention to their Heisman campaigns, as both are deserving of the trip to the ceremony, even if they don’t win it.
This is a cool thing to see, and the players and the team definitely deserve the recognition.
