WATCH: Kentucky posts highlights recapping Saturday night’s upset in the Swamp
Kentucky beat Florida for the first time since 1986 on Saturday, and they are still celebrating. The official Kentucky football Twitter account posted a highlight video of the game in the swamp that the Wildcats won 27-16.
The video shows some pregame shots, and Terry Wilson’s 54-yard touchdown pass to Lynn Bowden Jr. that made it a 21-10 Kentucky lead late in the third quarter, as well as some postgame celebration shots.
Not only was Saturday the first time the Wildcats have beaten Florida since 1986, it was also the first time Kentucky has won in Gainesville since 1979.

This was certainly Mark Stoops’ signature win at Kentucky and the biggest win in recent Kentucky football memory.
Kentucky has what should be a tune-up against Murray State next Saturday before diving back into conference play against Mississippi State, but Wildcat fans won’t forget about this win for a very long time.
