WATCH: Knicks fans boo team’s selection of Kentucky F Kevin Knox

Considering the New York Knicks’ fans booed now-superstar Kristaps Porzingis on draft night a few years ago, you’d think they’d learn to hold their judgement until a player takes the court.
However, on Thursday night, they were at it again, as they booed their team’s selection of former Kentucky F Kevin Knox with the No. 9 overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft.
As you can see below, Knox received some hearty boos from his new fanbase, who he’ll now have to prove wrong:

Much like Porzingis did, Knox will have to silence his vociferous new critics, and he’ll have to do it with a big rookie year.
He should get plenty of playing time, though, so it’ll be interesting to see what he does with it.
