Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette was expected to see a plenty of carries in his first NFL game against the Houston Texans.

Needless to say, his first career start might end up being a solid representation of what his professional career could end up looking like.

Known for his physical running style at LSU, Fournette is already hitting the truckstick against NFL defenders:

Ouch.

It’s still early in the game, but Fournette has already shown why he was so highly sought after following his college career. The LSU product was taken No. 4 overall by the Jaguars in the 2017 NFL Draft after rushing for 3,830 yards and 40 touchdowns in his three-year as a Tiger.

With the Jaguars struggling at the quarterback position, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Fournette become the focal point of the offense sooner rather than later.

At 6-0, 228 pounds, he definitely has the necessary size and strength to transition into that workhorse role with little to no difficulty.
