Liberty shocked the college football world on Saturday night when it held off Baylor 48-45 for the biggest upset win in program history.
It was also a major upset in terms of betting odds, as Liberty was a 33.5-point underdog coming into the game.
The party carried over into Sunday as the Flames’ football team was apparently greeted by a crowd of students at the team’s football stadium.
Then, to help the celebration continue, Liberty president Jerry Falwell Jr. cancelled classes on Monday:
I heard that a few thousand of you wanted classes cancelled monday. Enjoy the day off @LibertyU students! Way to go @LibertyFootball pic.twitter.com/Vb5xJlakjQ

Liberty did not have much of a chance to beat Baylor on the road, according to the ESPN Football Power Index:
