The disappointment of LSU’s 27-19 loss at Florida last Saturday still feels fresh, but the team has to move on with a huge game in Death Valley against No. 2 Georgia up next.

Even with the loss to Florida, the Tigers still have an outside shot at getting into the College Football Playoff. However, it would take wins over the top two teams in the country, as it stands in Week 7. It begins with a game against a Georgia Bulldogs team that has yet to face a real challenger in its SEC schedule.

Ed Orgeron’s team knows how huge this game is, and defensive linemen Breiden Fehoko and Rashard Lawrence took to Twitter on Thursday calling for LSU fans to help Death Valley live up to its reputation as one of the most dangerous places to play in college football.

“We need all of y’all,” said Fehoko, “get up on your feet, make some noise, go crazy for 60 minutes.

“We need all the energy, the whole atmosphere”.

Fehoko and Lawrence will play a huge role if the Bayou Bengals can pull out a win Saturday, and it would be a huge step forward for LSU in terms of fighting for a College Football Playoff spot.

LSU and Georgia kick off at 3:30pm ET on Saturday, on the SEC Game of the Week on CBS.
