WATCH: Mark Ingram sets New Orleans Saints franchise record

Mark Ingram is officially a New Orleans Saints record-holder.
The former Heisman Trophy winner at Alabama scored his 50th career rushing touchdown, breaking Deuce McCallister’s record. As many Saints fans are aware, McCallister called the record-breaking play on the Saints’ radio broadcast.
“And you are looking at the new rushing leader for the Saints, in touchdowns, in Mark Ingram,” McAllister said. “… That’s a nice run by Mark.”
Ingram’s one-yard touchdown run was set up by a controversial pass-interference call. The referees flagged Pittsburgh Steelers DB Joe Haden’s coverage of Alvin Kamara in the end zone. But when people look back on the record, no one will remember that one of the 50 touchdowns came with a possible assist from the refs.
