WATCH: Mrs. West Virginia turns on her state, pulling for Tennessee in the opener
Tennessee opens up their 2018 season against West Virginia at Bank of America stadium on Saturday, and it’s the perfect opportunity to inject some momentum into their program.
Coming off of the worst season in program history, the Vols could get off to a quick start in the rebuilding phase with a win over the No. 17 Mountaineers and Hesiman-hopeful Will Grier.
Many are hoping for the best for the Vols on Saturday, but one fan in particular will surprise you, and that’s Mrs. West Virginia.
In an interview with CBS affiliate WVLT, Mrs. West Virginia announces that she will be pulling for the Vols against her own state.
She said she originally planned on supporting both sides, pointing to her orange and white bracelet, but when the reporter pushed on who she really would be pulling for, Mrs. West Virginia said, “probably the Vols.”
