WATCH: MSU has its hands full this week containing Louisiana Tech’s dynamic punt returner

The first weekend of college football brought us many highlights, and Mississippi State’s next opponent provided one of the most electrifying plays of the weekend.

The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs beat Northwestern State by a final score of 52-24 Saturday, but it was a punt return in the second quarter that stole the headlines.

Junior WR Teddy Veal took the punt, bounced off two defenders, and broke multiple tackles on his way to an incredible 66-yard punt return touchdown. Veal finished the day with four returns for 86 yards and a TD.

MSU travels to play LA Tech Saturday evening, and they will need to be disciplined on kick coverage to contain the dynamic Veal.
