WATCH: One-handed UCF LB Shaquem Griffin turns in incredible bench-press performance

Originally, UCF LB Shaquem Griffin wasn’t included on the NFL’s Combine invite list. Fortunately, that was quickly rectified and the one-handed player earned his trip to Indianapolis.
It’s a good thing the NFL reconsidered, as Griffin put on a show on Saturday afternoon during the bench-press drill.
As you can see in the video below, shared on Twitter by @GeoffSchwartz, Griffin put up an impressive 20 reps while using his assistive technology to help him grip the bar:

That puts him six ahead of OL Orlando Brown from Oklahoma and five ahead of LSU OL K.J. Malone.
Even with one hand, Griffin can do more than most players, so it’ll be interesting to see if this performance at the combine changes NFL teams’ opinions of the UCF star.
