WATCH: Pee Wee Football post-game handshake quickly escalates into coaches fist-fighting
According to News 5, local police were called after a Pee Wee football game in Wise County, Virginia because coaches and parents had started to throw punches in the handshake line.
It began as a verbal altercation, but things quickly escalated, and one adult even got thrown to the ground suplex-style.
“It was pitiful to see the kids crying and scared,” a parent told News 5. “These are their coaches and mentors and guys they look up to. I hope it all gets resolved and doesn’t happen again.”
