Punters have had a rough week. Add Kent State punter Anthony Melchiori to that list.
With about 7:30 to go at Minnesota’s 42-yard line, Melchiori was hoping to pin the Gophers deep in their own territory. A mysterious wall had other plans as his punt only went a total of two yards.
This comes a few days after William James of Chapman University’s submission for worst flop in sports history.
