Former Ole Miss standout defensive lineman Robert Nkemdiche made a monstrous play on Sunday night.
Nkemdiche recovered a fumble for a touchdown in an NFL game between the Arizona Cardinals and the New York Giants.
The 21-yard, scoop-and-score put Nkemdiche’s Cardinals up 23-0. That score held until the final whistle.
The Cardinals selected Nkemdiche 29th overall in the 2016 NFL Draft.
Before becoming a standout defensive end in the NFL, Nkemdiche was a big-time playmaker at Ole Miss. He played for the Rebels from 2013 through 2015.
Nkemdiche racked up 81 total career tackles during his time in Oxford as both a defensive end and a defensive tackle. He also had 16 tackles for loss to go along with six sacks.
