WATCH: Roquan Smith records sack on very first play of his NFL career

Former Georgia linebacker Roquan Smith appears to have picked up right where he left off at Georgia.
During his first regular season NFL game on Sunday night, Smith easily got a sack on the very first play of his NFL career.
He was the only linebacker who rushed the quarterback on the play and initially got blocked by an offensive lineman. Then, he worked his way back around the outside where he was able to shed his block and get to the quarterback.
Smith is clearly already proving his worth as the 8th overall pick in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
He had 6.5 sacks his junior year at Georgia, and he’s well on his way to even more in the NFL. What a way to start your career.
