WATCH: Texas A&M starting QB Nick Starkel injured against UCLA, taken to locker room
Almost everything was going right for Texas A&M in their opener against the UCLA Bruins, until one play in the third quarter.
Aggies starting quarterback Nick Starkel was injured on a third down. His return time table is unknown, but it doesn’t look promising. In the beginning, he was merely helped to the sidelines.
Here’s a video of the redshirt freshman receiving extra attention after taking a hit:
The severity of the injury has yet to be determined. It’s a wait and see game at the moment.

Other measures had to be taken, leading many to believe Starkel could miss serious time.
