WATCH: The best tradition in college football is back for another year

Some things are just bigger than college football and no tradition exemplifies that quite like Iowa fans and players joining together to wave to kids in the Stead Family Children’s Hospital across the street from Kinnick Stadium.
It began last season and one of the best revelations from the first Saturday of the season is that it’s back for another year.
The fans, referees and players all join together in the wave and the children in the hospital wave right back wearing big foam hands.
It’s awesome to see what began as just a Facebook post and an idea from a fan spawn into something that warms the heart of every person watching.
The broadcaster says it best: “There is a reason to count your blessings huh?”
