WATCH: Trevor Lawrence takes huge hit, injured in first game since Kelly Bryant transfer decision

Former Clemson QB Kelly Bryant announced his transfer this week after losing his starting job to freshman Trevor Lawrence.
Well, during Lawrence’s first start on Saturday against Syracuse, the worst-case scenario happened for the Tigers.
As you can see in the video below, Lawrence took a massive shot to the head/neck area on a run against the Orange and was injured:

Le scénario redouté par Dabo Swinney. Si QB Trevor Lawrence doit être absent pour plusieurs semaines, la saison de #3 Clemson serait très compromise. En écartant QB Kelly Bryant, le coach des Tigers savait qu'il prenait un risque.https://t.co/8o6qH8JJc9

It looks like Lawrence got tripped up and stumbled head-first toward the defender. It doesn’t appear that he was trying to dive.
However, he went down and trainers had to attend to him on the field, and he’s out of the game for now, at least. He was reportedly taken back to the locker room for further examination.
Hopefully Lawrence is OK, but it didn’t look good. This has to be a nightmare for coach Dabo Swinney right now.
