Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was on most Heisman hot boards in the preseason, and he has done nothing to take away from the hype.
In the first quarter of Alabama’s game against Ole Miss, Tagovailoa aired out a 79-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Jerry Jeudy to take a 14-7 lead. The touchdown is also Tagovailoa’s career-long as an Alabama player.

After that touchdown, Tagovailoa’s statistics show 109 yards on 4 for 5 passing with 1 touchdown.
Those stats are with over nine minutes remaining in the first quarter.
The Hawaiian native’s Heisman hopes are alive and well in the first half of his week 3 matchup.
