WATCH: Tulane tries to capture Miami’s momentum with ‘Turnover Chain’ knockoff
Miami’s turnover chain became a national phenomenon last season, and we all knew that some school was going to try to one-up the ‘Canes in 2018.
It didn’t take long for us to see the first appearance of the turnover chain knockoff. Thursday night after Tulane linebacker Lawrence Graham picked off Wake Forest QB Sam Hartman, he ran over to the sideline and was presented with turnover … beads. Yes, beads.
The colorful necklace looks more like a string of Christmas ornaments, but hey, I guess it makes more sense considering the offense just gave you a gift.
