Vanderbilt is absolutely taking it to Florida in Nashville on Saturday afternoon, catching the Gators in what may have been a bit of a trap game.

Midway through the second quarter, the Commodores hold a 21-3 lead over their SEC East rivals, and the third touchdown was set up by one of the craziest fumbles of the year.

As you can see below, Vandy defenders batted and kicked the ball 30 yards downfield before finally pouncing on it:

The Commodores are lucky that the ball took a weird bounce at the end, otherwise it still would have been the Gators’ ball — albeit with them facing third-and-forever.

Still, they corralled it and turned it into points, and if the Gators don’t do something soon, the rout could be on in Nashville.
