WATCH: It wouldn’t be a Starkville brawl without the clanging of the cowbells

When you’re in StarkVegas and somebody scuffs your Sperry’s, you drag them across the ground and beat their face in to the tune of clanging cowbells.
It’s in the rule book as expected game day behavior in Starkville. And it’s what happened on Saturday around the time of the Mississippi State vs. Charleston Southern game.
Who knows if someone’s Sperry’s actually got scuffed, but it’s what Barstool Sports captioned on this Instagram submission it received.
Mississippi State won the game 49-0, so this fight surely didn’t have anything to do with tensions running high over the team’s performance.
There are several possibilities as to what could have gone wrong to trigger the brawl, but some are more likely than others.
Maybe someone got iced with a Smirnoff immediately after shotgunning a Natty. Or there could have been a cornhole mismatch with one side having significantly heavier bags. It was pretty windy on Saturday.
Either way, some guy got wrecked worse than Charleston Southern.
