WatchESPN brings SEC Network to Time Warner, Bright House customers

For weeks, Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks customers have been complained that the WatchESPN app doesn’t stream ESPN’s SEC Network and SEC Network+ live.

Well, you’re in luck SEC fans.

ESPN announced Friday both channels are now available on WatchESPN, just in time for tonight’s Big Blue Madness at Kentucky and Saturday’s Vanderbilt-South Carolina game at 4 p.m. EST.

Time Warner and Bright House customer can watch SEC Network and SEC Network+ on their mobile devices by simply logging in with their usernames and passwords to access all services, according to ESPN.

According to ESPN’s press release:

“We’re pleased to give our customers live access to their favorite SEC teams anytime and anywhere across multiple platforms,” said Mike Angus, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Digital Programming and Content for Time Warner Cable.

“We are pleased to offer the WatchESPN mobile experience to our college sports fans,” said Kristi Kramersmeier, Corporate Vice President, New Product Development, Bright House Networks.  “Our customers who are SEC college football fans will be especially happy this weekend when they can catch their games anywhere anytime!”
