For the second consecutive week, Texas A&M and the renovated Kyle Field topped the SEC attendance list with 103,867, just shy of the school record set against Lamar.
The Aggies racked up another win against Rice and claimed a new national record for student attendance.
Two other SEC stadiums held six-figure crowds Saturday, including Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, La.
Tennessee (at Oklahoma) and Arkansas (at Texas Tech) both traveled West to play Big 12 schools.
The lowest attendance figure in the conference (33,386) witnessed Vanderbilt’s first win of the season, a comeback victory against MAC punching bag Massachussetts.
Mississippi State traveled to Ladd-Peebles Stadium, home of the Senior Bowl, as part of a two-for-one series with South Alabama, which set a school attendance record of 38,129.
Eight of the 13 SEC teams in action played true home games, while Auburn didn’t have a game.
