Alabama fans won’t be able to watch their team today, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a lot on the line for the Crimson Tide.
Like Mississippi State, LSU and Missouri, Alabama has a bye this week. But Crimson Tide fans will want to be up bright and early for the Ole Miss-Auburn contest. An Ole Miss loss would give the Crimson Tide a clear path to Atlanta for the SEC Championship, but can a true Alabama fan really cheer on Auburn to victory? This is quite the conundrum.
LSU fans, too, will have eyes on that game. The Tigers are the last undefeated team left in the SEC. Missouri and Mississippi State, the other two with byes, play each other next week at Faurot Field.
But enough about the teams that won’t be taking the field. There is plenty of exciting, compelling SEC action to watch today.
Here is today’s schedule and TV listings for the SEC:
- Ole Miss at Auburn, noon, ESPN
- South Carolina at Texas A&M, noon, SEC Network
- Florida vs. Georgia (in Jacksonville, Fla.), 3:30 p.m. ET, CBS
- Arkansas vs. UT-Martin, 4 p.m. ET, SEC Network
- Vanderbilt at Houston, 7 p.m. ET, ESPN2
- Tennessee at Kentucky, 7:30 p.m. ET, SEC Network
