Football season is upon us, SEC fans. The first game features two East Division teams looking to get on track with a win after an offseason of mystery. How will Will Muschamp do at the helm of the Gamecocks? And who will play quarterback? In Derek Mason’s third year, will Vandy make a step toward relevance in the division?
For a divisional matchup, this one is surprisingly civil. The normal name calling of a Saturday matchup took a bit of a backseat to excitement for football season. Also, Vandy fans generally need to step up their trash talking game.
Fans on both sides weighed in with their always astute takes ahead of tonight’s action.
