Florida redshirt freshman quarterback Will Grier must have lived in the weight room during his first year and a half in Gainesville.
The former early enrollee entered Florida weighing 172 pounds, according to the AJC, and now, he’s bulked up to 215 pounds, according to his father. For you non-math majors, that’s 43 pounds.
Love having the boy @willgrier_ home! Swamp Life has been good to him – weighed 215 today after workout! #ProudDad pic.twitter.com/Kf6MYDkXNj

1010XL Radio broadcaster Frank Frangie also hit the Twittersphere with Grier’s added weight entering fall camp.
Finally, college teams on field Thursday. Heard that Will Grier, at 6-foot-3, is up to 215 pounds. Most interesting player in UF fall camp.

Grier will enter fall camp deadlocked with sophomore dual-threat quarterback and returning starter Treon Harris. Harris and Grier battled throughout spring practice for the right to be named the Gators’ starting signal caller, and that position battle will resume this week.
The pro-style Grier is the prototypical quarterback Jim McElwain wants to run his offense, as evidenced by his quarterbacks at Alabama and Colorado State. And certainly bulking up to 215 pounds doesn’t hurt Grier’s chances.
