Kentucky quarterback Will Levis announced his intention to return to Kentucky for the 2022 season rather than turning pro. He used an epic clip from the movie The Terminator to announce simply, “I’ll be back.”
He was asked about his return to Kentucky on Tuesday, according to 247 Sports.
“I want my messages to be short and sweet and leave it at that but my decision is to come back and play another year at Kentucky, so I’m excited about that,” Levis said. “I know I have a lot more to improve on as a player as well as I think there’s a lot of great opportunities for this team in the next year. We have some developing to do and I think if we can play to our full potential with the guys coming back and the class that we’re bringing in and the transfers, it’s a recipe for success. So looking forward to having a good offseason and an even better season next year.”
Levis, along with Wan’Dale Robinson and others, have added an instant spark to the Cats offense. Levis has thrown for nearly 2,600 yards, 23 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. He’s completed 66.5 percent of his passes.
The Wildcats finished the season with a 9-3 record and finished second behind Georgia in the East.
