Will Rogers and Jo’Quavious “Woody” Marks have been battling injuries throughout this season, and their status for Saturday’s game against Auburn was revealed.
Rogers suffered a shoulder injury against Western Michigan, and despite the bye week missed last week’s game against Arkansas. Marks played last week, but was hobbled at times.
It was revealed as the Bulldogs came out for warmups that both Rogers, the QB, and Marks, the running back, would be out against Auburn.

Rogers has battled a shoulder injury since MSU’s game against Western Michigan. Vanderbilt transfer Mike Wright took over and recorded 145 total yards, 1 touchdown and 1 interception against Arkansas in a 7-3 win last weekend.
Mississippi State comes into this game struggling on O (11th in SEC in both scoring and total O), and now Will Rogers and Woody Marks are in street clothes prior — Auburn’s Jaylin Simpson said he wanted a shutout, IDK about that, but certainly a great opportunity to play well

Marks suffered a leg injury early in the season and has been battling it off-and-on for weeks now. Despite that, the running has racked up 500 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns this season.
The game between the Bulldogs and Tigers is set to kickoff at 3:30 p.m. ET on the SEC Network.
