Will Wade fired: Details emerge in Notice of Allegations against former LSU head coach

Will Wade is out at LSU following the school receiving the Notice of Allegations.
According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, there were multiple level 1 allegations against the former LSU head coach. Wade is also not expected to be paid out any of his remaining money on the contract, according to Thamel.

The NOA against Wade also said that Wade “violated the principles of ethical conduct and provided impermissible cash payments to the former fiancée of a student-athlete in order to buy her silence regarding prior and current impermissible inducements to student-athletes…”

The LSU Tigers will now be looking for their next head coach immediately. Kevin Nickelberry will be the team’s interim head coach.
