Women’s College World Series: Schedule, Bracket and TV info for Friday, June 2
The Women’s College World Series continues in Oklahoma City on Friday.
All 8 teams remain alive for a chance at the National Championship. While 4 games were scheduled for Thursday, only 3 were played due to inclement weather. That means a third game — Utah-Washington — has been added to the docket for Friday.
Thursday’s action included a very close game between Oklahoma and Stanford. The Sooners prevailed 2-0, extending their record-breaking win streak to 49 games. Florida State and Tennessee also picked up wins on Thursday.
Friday’s slate features a pair of elimination games. Alabama will face Stanford in the early window while the loser of Utah-Washington will go up against Oklahoma State in the nightcap.
