“He’s got a pretty big following, and I was like, ‘Hey would you mind doing me a favor and helping me promote the merchandise?” Blankenship said. “And he was all for it.”
According to Ayello, the two met at the “Nature Boy”‘s 70th birthday party, and have had a good relationship since then.
Blankenship is Georgia’s all-time leading scorer as a kicker, currently playing out his rookie season with the Indianapolis Colts, and Flair is a 71-year old wrestling legend.
Sound like a match made in heaven? Georgia fans certainly think so.
