The 2023 NBA Draft will be here before we know it! The San Antonio Spurs are all but certain to take Victor Wembanyama with the No. 1 overall pick, but there will be plenty of drama after that.
This week, Jonathan Wasserman of Bleacher Report released his latest 2-round NBA mock draft, and he included 5 SEC stars in the first round.
As you can see below, he has Alabama star Brandon Miller as the No. 2 overall pick, going to the Charlotte Hornets:
- No. 2 — Brandon Miller, F, Alabama — Charlotte Hornets
- No. 6 — Anthony Black, G, Arkansas — Orlando Magic
- No. 14 — Nick Smith Jr., G, Arkansas — New Orleans Pelicans
- No. 15 — Cason Wallace, G, Kentucky — Atlanta Hawks
- No. 26 — Noah Clowney, F, Alabama — Indiana Pacers
In Round 2, Wasserman includes 6 SEC standouts, bringing the total number of players drafted from the league to 11. Find his Round 2 projections here.
And tune in to the NBA Draft on Thursday, June 22, in Brooklyn to see how many picks the SEC produces.
