Kawhi Leonard has been ruled out of game 4 of the western conference playoffs. After suffering a right knee sprain in the last series, Kawhi Leonard has now missed five straight games – tonight’s game will make it six straight. The LA Clippers are down 2 games to 1 against the Phoenix Suns, and they will attempt to even the series tonight on their home court against the Suns without their all-NBA player.

Team officials say that Leonard has remained engaged with the team and coaches throughout the series, but Leonard received some criticism for where he chose to view game 3 from a couple nights ago.

While not a crime, some fans took exception to Leonard not sitting with his team. However, if you’ve followed Leonard’s history, this isn’t exactly strange for a player who can come off as aloof and overly independent. Still, fans just want the All-Star back on the court helping the Clippers win their first ever title.

Kawhi Leonard has won NBA championships with the San Antonio Spurs and the Toronto Raptors.

As for the NBA Playoffs schedule for the next few nights… The Clippers and Suns face off tonight at 9:00 p.m. in game 4 of the western conference finals. Tomorrow evening at 8:30 p.m. eastern, the Bucks and Hawks will play game 3 of the eastern conference finals. The Bucks and Hawks are tied with a game apiece in the east.
